Kiss Me Medicated Lip Cream

I picked this lip balm up a long time ago when I was just obsessed with finding the perfect Holy Grail lip balm. I was, and am still very clear what I am looking for - effective, and natural (fragrance-free with organic or no preservatives).

Since that day, I have made Burt's Bees Pomegranate lip balm my Holy Grail, and have also made a few favourites (Mentholatum Organic and Maybelline Baby Lips).

How does this fair against the big brands? Read on to find out.

Kiss Me Medicated Lip Cream

Available: BHG, $7.10.

Volume: 2.5 g.

Star Properties: Extremely mild fragrance-free formula that moisturises your lips and prevents them from drying.

Ingredients: Water, tocopheryl acetate, titanium dioxide, stearyl glycyrrhetinate, squalene, soluble collagen, sodium lactate, sodium hyaluronate, propylparaben, polyglyceryl-2 isostearate, polyethylene, phenoxyethanol, mineral oil, microcrystalline wax, macademia ternifolia seed oil, isotridecyl isononanoate, diisostearyl malate, cholesteryl hydroxystearate, ceresin, BHT.

Packaging
Like it! Sweet banana yellow, few words, simple and straightforward.

Product and Application
True to claim, this lip balm is fragrance-free, and glides on wonderfully on the lips. Better than all lip balms I have tried before, including Burt's Bees, and Maybelline Baby Lips.

The simple formula gives it the down-to-earth pure white appearance (below).

Effectiveness
Very good! This is not only great in the day, all over the lips, it is also great as an overnight treatment lip balm!

Price
The price is about the same as the Mentholatum Organic Lip Balm, but I think I will purchase this one over the Mentholatum one just because this is slightly thicker and better for overnight than Mentholatum.

Love it! 5/5.
Everything about it is right - the quality and effectiveness, the simplicity, and the price!
Are you a lip balm person? What is your best?
